Official Sweepstakes Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE. A purchase of a product or service from the Sponsor or the Sponsor’s affiliated companies will not improve the chance of winning. Void where prohibited. Subject to all federal, state and local laws.
Participation requires Internet access.

YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. VOID IN ALASKA, HAWAII, OUTSIDE THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES, AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

By entering, entrants (i) fully release Meta/Instagram of all liability in connection with the sweepstakes, and (ii) acknowledge that this sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta/Instagram.

BY PARTICIPATING, YOU ARE ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT AND ARE AGREEING TO ALL OF THE TERMS CONTAINED IN THESE RULES.

1. Eligibility. Entrant must be a U.S. legal citizen or U.S. resident living in the contiguous U.S. and 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, LLC, (“NASCAR”), NASCAR Events & Entertainment, LLC (“NEE”), the City of Chicago, The Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau d/b/a Choose Chicago, the Chicago Park District, Grant Park, and the Chicago Sports Commission, and their parent(s), subsidiaries, affiliates and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, successors, agents and members of Garrett Brands LLC (“Garrett”), and its parent company, subsidiaries, and affiliates; advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, if applicable, and their respective family/household members (defined as parents, spouse, children, and siblings), are not eligible to enter.
2. How to Enter. There are two ways to enter:

   Liking the GARRETT POPCORN SHOPS “SUMMER BBQ” Sweepstakes post by garrettpopcorn, following @garrettpopcorn, and tagging a friend on Instagram between July 3, 2025 10:00 a.m. CDT and July 17, 2025 11:59 p.m. CDT (“Instagram Valid Entries Window”).
   Fill out the subscription form by scanning the QR code found at Garrett Popcorn Shops activation tent at the 2025 NASCAR Chicago Street Race™ on July 5, 2025 9:30 am to 7:00 pm CDT, and July 6, 2025 10:00 am to 4:00 pm CDT; or use https://www.garrettpopcorn.com/#summerbbqgiveaway between July 3, 2025 10:00 a.m. CDT and July 17, 2025 11:59 p.m. CDT (“Subscription Form Valid Entries Window”). The Instagram Valid Entries Window and the Subscription Form Valid Entries Window are collectively referred to in these rules as the “Valid Entries Window”.
   By either method, entrant consents to Garrett sending marketing materials via email, text message, or Instagram. However, entrant may unsubscribe to any at ay time.
   Limit of one (1) entry per person. Additional entries will be void.

    

3. Random Sweepstakes/Odds. One (1) Grand Prize Winner and Four (4) Secondary Prize Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries (all entries will be combined) received by Garrett and notified on July 24, 2025. The odds of winning the Prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
4. Prize. The following Prize will be awarded to each Winner:

   One (1) Grand Prize package that includes one (1) Weber GENESIS SX-335 Stainless Steel Smart Liquid Propane Gas Grill + Weber Precision Grill Tongs & Spatula Set + Garrett RTE Product Package (1 full size bag of each of the following recipes: Garrett Mix^®, CheeseCorn, CaramelCrisp^®, White Cheddar, Spicy CheeseCorn, Simply Salted, Cheddar Sour Cream, Smoked BBQ). Total value $1,428.

   Four (4) second place prize packages that each include one (1) Weber Q 1200 Blue Portable Liquid Propane Gas Grill + Weber Precision Grill Tongs & Spatula Set + Garrett RTE Product Package (1 full size bag of each of the following recipes: Garrett Mix^®, CheeseCorn, CaramelCrisp^®, White Cheddar, Spicy CheeseCorn, Simply Salted, Cheddar Sour Cream, Smoked BBQ). Total value $338.

   Garrett will send the Garrett Popcorn to the winners at Garrett’s expense.  Weber will cause the Weber prizes to be sent to the winners at Weber’s expense.  The Prize is not transferable. No substitution of the Prize is allowed by the Winner, but Garrett reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The Prize is not redeemable for cash. All federal, state, and local taxes, fees and surcharges on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Garrett will comply with all income tax reporting obligations. There will be no compensation or prize substitution if Winner and/or guest are unable to use any Prize for any reason (for example, loss or malfunction of the Prize) or by any reason beyond Garrett’s control.

5. Notification. Any Winners of the Sweepstakes who entered via Instagram will be notified by direct messaging on July 24, 2025. Any Winners of the Sweepstakes who entered via QR Code will be notified by email on July 24, 2025. The Prize may be awarded to an alternate Winner (selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entrants) if no response to the winning notification is received within forty-eight (48) hours after receiving the notice.
6. Requirements for Claiming Prize. The prize must be claimed within forty-eight (48) hours after Garrett sends the winning notice to the potential winner. Garrett reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any winner who Garrett determines is not permitted by law to receive a prize. Winner is not required to participate in publicity as a condition of collecting the prize, but the first name and last initial of the winner may be publicized and will be disclosed to members of the public on request. Garrett reserves the right to refrain from conducting any advertising or publicity associated with the Winner for any reason.
7. Conditions. By participating, all entrants agree (and, upon request, agree to confirm in writing) (a) to be solely responsible for the content post to enter into the Sweepstakes, (b) to release Garrett and National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, LLC, NASCAR Events and Entertainment, LLC, the City of Chicago, The Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau d/b/a Choose Chicago, the Chicago Park District, Grant Park, Chicago and the Chicago Sports Commission, and their parent(s), subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members, successors, agents, and assigns (collectively, the “Chicago Entities”), all sponsors and venues associated with the Chicago Street Race Weekend, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, retailers, advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, members, successors, assigns, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, taxes, and/or use or misuse of the Prize, including without limitation, loss, damage, system damage, loss of property or data, claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy, accidents, injuries, or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the Sweepstakes, redeeming the Prize, or participation in any other Sweepstakes-related activity, (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages. Garrett and the Released Parties are not responsible if the Sweepstakes cannot take place or if the Prize cannot be awarded due to cancellations, delays, or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather, acts of terrorism, withdrawal of any prizes, or any other reasons beyond Garrett’s control.
8. Miscellaneous. Entries will not be acknowledged. Garrett’s decisions are final and binding with regard to this Sweepstakes.
   In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed made by the individual who is the authorized holder of the social media account used at the time of entry online. A potential winner may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized holder of the social media account associated with the winning entry.
   If it is not possible for the Sweepstakes to proceed as planned for any reason that affects the security or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, or human error, Garrett reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
   Garrett and the Released Parties are not responsible for any message delivery failures, error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission; communications failure; loss, theft or destruction of entries; unauthorized access to or alteration of entries; any technical malfunction or problem with any telephone network or lines, computer or online systems, computer equipment or software; failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Garrett or notification sent by Garrett to a potential winner (including due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website); or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes.
   You agree that any and all disputes concerning the interpretation of this contract shall be decided under Illinois law as though all acts and omissions related to it occurred in the State of Illinois, and that the exclusive venue for any such dispute shall be the state or federal courts of Illinois, Cook County.
   Caution: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may violate criminal or civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Garrett reserves the right to seek damages from that person, in addition to any other legal and/or equitable remedies that are or may be available.

9. Use of Data. Please review Garrett’s Privacy Policy here: https://www.garrettpopcorn.com/privacy-policies/. Garrett may be collecting personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby agree to Garrett’s collection and usage of their personal information in accordance with Garrett’s privacy policy, and entrants acknowledge that they have read and accepted Garrett’s privacy policy.

11. Sponsor. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Garrett Brands LLC, with its principal address at 600 N. Commerce St, Aurora, IL 60504. Weber-Stephen Products LLC is not a sponsor of this Sweepstakes. The NASCAR Chicago Street Race™ word mark and logo are used under a limited license by Garrett in connection with the NASCAR Chicago Street Race™.
