Content Manager

Garrett Brands LLC. is the parent company for Garrett Popcorn Shops and Frango Chocolate. We are looking for a Content Manager who is deeply familiar with using data to drive content creation and optimize User Experience (UX). This role sits at the center of content marketing for the organization. Primarily, this person will work with the marketing team to understand strategic priorities and then bring these priorities to life on our e-commerce site,, through compelling copywriting and smart image direction. This person will “live in the data” to understand content performance and its impact on UX, offering insights and recommendations for A/B testing and optimization. This person will work within a larger marketing team, reporting to the SVP of Marketing, and with the social media, creative, and IT teams.


· Author all written content on web and in email, recommending accompanying imagery and placement

· Support keyword strategies in copy, metadata (meta tags), and SEO content pieces

· Monitor and optimize effectiveness of on-site search

· Monitor competitive activities and recommend action plans, as needed

· Integrate social listening and competitive audits into total behavioral insights

· Support retail and digital paths to purchase by understanding the insights embedded in service design

· Collaborate with digital design, web developers, and tech partners to implement recommended actions

· Be a student of digital marketing across the funnel


· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or directly related field

· 4+ years’ work experience within a team-based organizational structure

· SEO experience a must; digital commerce experience preferred

· Consumer retail or food-beverage brand experience preferred

· Working knowledge of UX principles and best practices

· Strong copywriter and editor with excellent attention to detail

· Tech savvy with knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO

· Comfortable in the analytics and in the data, using metrics to drive action

· Well-organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to deliver results on-time and on-budget

· Demonstrated consumer empathy blended with an understanding of the tech requirements for success

· A team player, able to effectively influence others not in your direct reporting line

· Familiarity with wireframing software (eg InVision) or “sandbox” environments a plus

· Familiarity with project management or ticketing systems a plus (eg Jira)

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications a plus (eg Excel, MS Teams, Powerpoint)
