PPC Specialist (Chicago, IL)

Garrett Brands LLC. is the parent company for Garrett Popcorn Shops and Frango Chocolate. We are looking for a PPC Specialist who is deeply familiar with the Google Ads platform and is motivated to expand into other remarketing and paid social campaigns. This role will ultimately be responsible for optimizing our paid digital campaign efforts. Primarily, this person will manage the Google Ads and Bing accounts for Garrett Popcorn Shops, creating strategies, recommending budget, and tracking / optimizing performance of the account. In addition, this role will use the insights gleaned from Google Analytics to recommend remarketing efforts and paid campaigns on social media and within third-party applications (eg GoPuff, UberEats, Tastes Of Chicago). These insights could also extend to how we optimize email campaigns and on-site personalization efforts with select audiences. This person will work within a larger marketing team, reporting to the Content Manager, and with the social media and IT teams.

Responsibilities

· Lead our efforts across the Google Ad and Bing networks, driving traffic, conversions, and ROAS

· Manage our bid strategy and recommend necessary adjustments to quarterly budgets

· Create and optimize all PPC ads (ie content, landing page, audience, keywords)

· Live in the campaign and site analytics, highlighting performance trends and recommended actions

· Recommend A/B testing to see and optimize the digital marketing flow

· Optimize keyword search, including SEO and on-site search engine results

· Integrate social listening and competitive audits into total behavioral insights

· Influence landing page design by sharing insights and ad performance

· Manage our paid efforts on social networks

· Collaborate with digital design, web developers and e-commerce partners to implement recommended actions

· Be a student of digital marketing across the funnel

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or directly related field

· 2+ years’ work experience within a team-based organizational structure

· Proven track record of quantitative results in digital marketing

· Consumer retail or food-beverage brand experience preferred

· A creative spirit who understands the powerful impact of a well-chosen image and insightful copy

· Fluency with the Google Ad and Bing Ad platforms

· Fluency with on-site analytics dashboards, such as Google Analytics

· Demonstrated consumer empathy blended with an understanding of the technical requirements for success

· Well-organized with an ability to deliver results on-time and on-budget

· A team player, able to effectively communicate your recommendations to others not in your direct reporting line

· Familiarity with project management or ticketing systems a plus (eg Jira)

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications a plus (eg Excel, MS Teams, Powerpoint)
